Dr. Azimi firmly believes that understanding the connection between oral health and overall well-being helps patients maintain a healthy smile and body. His goal is to create a positive and comfortable experience, drawing from his own childhood experiences that initially made him fearful of dental visits.
Dr. Azimi’s journey into dentistry was inspired by his desire to improve patient experiences and his passion for problem-solving. He earned his biomedical engineering degree from Arizona State University before completing his dental degree at Nova Southeastern University. During his studies, he participated in mission trips to Jamaica, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic, providing dental care to underserved communities.
Committed to ongoing learning, Dr. Azimi has pursued advanced training in dental implantology through Live Dental Implant Training and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. A proud first-generation doctor, he and his family immigrated from Iran in 2010 seeking better opportunities.
Outside the office, Dr. Azimi enjoys golf, working out, reading, and exploring podcasts.

Before attempting to calculate the cost of a dental checkup and cleaning in Kessler, it can be helpful to consider what is included as part of this kind of visit. Only a part of the process involves dental X-rays that provide the dentist with a comprehensive view of your smile, an in-depth discussion surrounding your oral and overall health, and a detailed examination that is designed to identify early signs of cavities, decay, and gum disease. The remainder includes a thorough cleaning that involves removing harmful plaque and tartar from teeth and gums before a final polish is provided.
With all this included as part of a general exam and cleaning, the average cost for this type of preventive service can run between $200 and $350. Of course, you are encouraged to use your dental insurance if you have it, as most plans will cover these six-month visits at 100%, which means more money in your pocket and a healthier smile year-round.
If you have dental insurance near Kessler, use it, as this can potentially help you save thousands on oral healthcare services. However, if you are not enrolled in a private insurance plan, do not assume there are no other options available for you to receive accessible and affordable care.
At Arts Family Dentistry, we are pleased to provide flexible financing with the help of CareCredit and Sunbit. These third-party companies provide eligible enrollees with personalized, low- and no-interest plans so that you can stay within budget and pay off your treatment over time instead of all upfront. The best part is there are no prepayment penalties, so if you want or can pay off your bill earlier than expected, you won’t be penalized for it!
When needing a same-day appointment, it’s likely because a dental injury has occurred. In this instance, you will need to call our office right away so that we can work quickly to schedule a time for you to come in.
While we offer same-day visits, we also provide late evening and Saturday appointments as well. This allows our dentists near Kessler to administer timely care when you need it most. It is during these sessions that we will identify the cause of the pain and work to eliminate it as quickly as possible. From there, we will develop a treatment plan that explains how we will target the affected area and rebuild it so that it is fully restored.
To practice as a licensed dentist in the United States, you must first achieve a bachelor’s degree with high scores in math and sciences before being accepted to one of the 67 accredited dental schools throughout the country. Here, you must complete what will likely be three years of hands-on experience and classroom instruction to receive a Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
After completing dental school, you can choose to specialize in one of the 12 unique fields recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA). Some of these include periodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and more. The pursuit of specialization will likely require an additional three years of schooling and training.
To maintain your licensure, you must complete a certain number of continuing education hours each year.
