Being able to work with children is what Dr. Ludlow enjoys most. Delivering a fun, informative, and productive dental experience that incorporates comfort and excitement is what makes his role as a trusted dentist near the Bishop Arts District so enjoyable.
Although he now helps young smiles grow into healthy, adult ones, he previously served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army Reserves. Spending much time with physicians, EMTs, nurses, and dentists, he discovered an interest in dentistry because of his firsthand viewpoint. Drawn to the technical nature of the profession as well as its artistic aspects, he decided to enroll at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry and receive his dental degree.
Dr. Ludlow then went on to complete two years of advanced training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, he also serves on staff at Children’s Health Hospital of Dallas and Children’s Health Hospital of Plano. He is also involved in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
An advocate for patient education, Dr. Azimi is a skilled dentist near the Bishop Arts District who enjoys helping patients understand their dental needs. He also appreciates the opportunity to create a positive and enjoyable environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
Coming into the profession in an unusual way, he had many negative experiences visiting the dentist as a child. Fearful of dental work, it actually inspired him to pursue the same field but with a different approach. He wanted patients to feel comfortable and welcome when visiting the dentist, not scared. This is why he builds positive connections among those he treats.
Completing a biomedical engineering degree at Arizona State University, he earned his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University. During his time there, he participated in several mission trips to Jamaica, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic, offering free dental care to underprivileged individuals.
Although no longer in school, he continues to take various courses focused on dental implant dentistry, such as those offered as part of Live Dental Implant Training and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is also active in the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
I liked everything about this office! They let me be a part of the whole process unlike other offices. Definitely makes me feel good as a parent. The whole office staff is so friendly. The Dr and assistant were so kind and the ladies in the front makes you feel extremely welcomed!!!”
