Why he does it this way

He is the first in his family to graduate from college, and one of three children. He describes himself as someone with a passion for patient care, for health and fitness, and for building lasting relationships, and says his aim is for patients to feel at ease in his chair.

Training

Dr. Karimi read Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2019, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in May 2024.

Since qualifying he has kept adding to it. He holds a Texas Level 1 minimal sedation licence, has completed an endodontic course on root canal technique, and has attended workshops on both composite and ceramic veneers. On a hands-on implant course in Tijuana he planned and placed twelve implants, five of them immediate, along with a sinus lift.

What he treats

General dentistry for adults and children: cleanings and exams, fillings, crowns and bridges, extractions and bone grafting, dentures, and root canals.

He also treats children, including baby tooth root canals and stainless steel crowns, and is an Invisalign provider.

Care where it is hardest to get

Through dental school he volunteered at the Texas Mission of Mercy in Abilene, providing extractions and fillings to people with no other access to care, and at North Dallas Shared Ministries and the MC Cooper Dental Clinic satellite clinics, where he did exams, cleanings, restorations and dentures. He also worked on Sealant Day, a programme bringing sealants into low income elementary schools.
