Membership plan questions
- Is a dental membership plan the same as dental insurance?
- No. This is a plan Arts Family Dentistry runs itself, not an insurance policy. There is no insurer in the middle, so there is nothing to claim and nothing to deny. You pay the practice directly and your benefits start the day you join.
- What does the membership plan cost?
- Child Complete is $30 a month for 13 and younger, Adult Complete is $39 a month for 14 and older, Perio is $52 a month for 14 and older. The first 3 months are due when you enrol, and membership runs for 12 months from the date you join.
- Is there a waiting period before I can use it?
- No. Benefits start immediately. There are no deductibles, no waiting periods, no annual maximums, no claim denials and no pre-approvals.
- What happens if I need a filling, a crown or a root canal?
- Treatment beyond the cleanings and exams in your plan is 20% off when it is completed at our Bishop Arts practice. There is no annual cap on that discount.
- Can I put my whole family on the plan?
- Yes. Each person has their own subscription, and family members get 15% off theirs. Children 13 and younger go on Child Complete; everyone 14 and older goes on Adult Complete or Perio.
- What if I already have dental insurance?
- Then the plan is probably not for you. It exists for patients without insurance. We are in network with most major PPO plans and we take Medicaid and CHIP, so ask the front desk and we will check your benefits before you sit down.
