How we find out what is actually wrong

Pain rarely tells you where the problem is. We image it first, then show you the same picture we are looking at, before anything gets planned or priced.

What to do before you get here

None of this replaces being seen. It is what helps in the meantime.

Knocked-out tooth: Hold it by the crown, not the root. Put it back in the socket if you can, or in a cup of milk, and call us now.
Toothache: Warm salt water rinse and your usual painkiller. Never hold aspirin against the gum, it burns the tissue.
Swelling: Cold compress on the outside of the cheek and call us the same day.
Broken tooth: Keep any pieces in milk. Cover a sharp edge with sugar-free gum until you get here.

What emergency treatment costs

It depends on what is wrong, which is why we look first and price it before we start. What we can tell you is how it gets paid for.

Insured. In network with most major PPO plans, and your benefits get checked before treatment is planned.
Medicaid or CHIP. Both accepted, which a lot of Dallas practices will not do.
No insurance. The in-house membership plan covers exams and x-rays, with 20% off treatment.
Larger treatment. Cherry, Sunbit and HFD payment plans spread the cost.
